- { do you get some of yer music from Dr. Demento? i like the Buddy Hackett one. my AAA map is a large paperback book like a trucker's atlas. 12" by 18". so each state map is like 18 by 24 with a lot of nomenclature on em. so you have a few maps, eh. i love maps. a lot of Louis L'Amour books have maps and i always refer back and forth to them and look at my atlas also. Tony Hillerman also refers to a lot of maps and locations in his stories. i love looking at my maps to see if the story lines up with reality (and they mostly do). so yeah, the Minnow struggles cause ya carry a lot of trees/weight. where do ya keep em all? } – Jul 21, 4:36 PM

- { when i took that NP tour trip with John we missed a lot. we stopped at a few overnight and went on hikes and stuff, and yet some we just stopped at Visitor's Centers to get postcards and decals and mainly just flew thru them getting to next destination. i didnt even know about Glen Canyon NP and all it's beauties. thats just northeast of Arches (where we spent 2 nights). from there we jammed north to Teton NP for a night and then 3 nights in Yellowstone. oh well. yer gonna have fun wherever you go. i hope you winter out down south, maybe spend some time in KRV? } – Jul 23, 5:21 PM

- { you need to sit someplace for a week where you have internet bars and try to catch up. i know it takes a lot to do each post (using WordPress?). your photos in the beginning of yer posts work fine, but Goody2Shoe's photos were garbled mess. idk. the international airport shows on yer pin-map if you really crank the magnification up till you see street names. the airport is in ID and town in Can. and according to your pin-map, 95 branches off to the east (11 miles south of Porthill) to Addie and 1 continues north to Porthill. and i understand your love-words for Lei (now). - { oh boy, are you in for it now! i have lots of comments for this comment box. ok, finally you got to the Canadian border, but not into...... i like on the map the International Airport is in USA but town is in Canada. hmmmm. Copeland. i have no Copeland on my map. yer pin-map shows the road and in a certain magnification, the name Copeland by itself near a tiny lake and intersection of 45/46. gas station and diner/post office? and i beg to differ with ya: ya couldnt have driven on 95 to get to Copeland. i wasnt there, but yer map (and mine) says you were on Hwy 1. (I know, big technical difference). lol. Randy, i think ya need a vacation from each other for a while. i wonder what kind of names Lei has for you? yers for her are "Lump" and (Miss) "Goody Two Shoes." - { ok, i see the problem of distances on your pin-map as opposed to my AAA map. your's doesnt show all the little towns spread all over the place unless you zoom in real close. my map shows--on the Nez Perce Res--many many little towns and villages and roads and creeks and all the names of them filling the area between Hwy 12 and Hwy 95. look at your paper maps then look at this map showing the relative area being the same between the two and you will see all the names of towns and places. ok, enough of that, ive said my piece, i'll let it go for now.. im finding i spend almost more time here in grammalei land than i do in FB land. you are so much more fun. talk to ya later. } – Jul 06, 3:28 PM
- { verra intrestin. are you just driving around just to sight-see? yesterday you were driving east on the Lewis and Clark Hwy 12 and now you turned around and are heading west? and yeah, dont ya just hate noisy camp areas? is this the farthest you could get from the road? i would think with all those amenities it would be a bigger campground. one other thing, showing on your pin-map, places look closer than they really are. my AAA map shows a real long distance from Selway to Moscow, but your map show apparent distances closer together. im gunna check this out better and get back to you on this. - { well, HEY! i was beginning to worry about your safety, even tho i prayed each day for your safety. i knew you were just getting from one wifi location to the next. first question. what year is yer Ford Minnow? they do tend to fall apart after many years and you need new parts. i have done the same on my truck: steering pump and box, radiator, cooling lines to transmission and others. so now this is fixed and you are able to go further. im happy for you. send me an email more often if you can letting me know where ya are and you are OK. } – Jul 16, 2:37 PM

- { as to my last comment of parking next to the road and the noise factor, you answered my question in this post. thank you . i like the Garnet sluicing adventure. you spent all day doing it? sounds like fun. are the garnets those little black-looking stones? i ask this cause we have a creek here in my valley here that i sluiced little bright red stones/gems out of the mud with my bare hands. they were tiny little chips ruby-red that i called garnets. i guess i noticed the red shining in the water and picked it up and saw others. yer's are almost black but mine were ruby-red. sounds like you had lots of fun, and the photos were nice and i like the camp song. i see ya still have another post for me to read and enjoy. so far this afternoon i have been here nearly three hours reading and commenting. im off to Coeur D'Alene next. } – Jul 16, 4:53 PM
