Emerald Creek Camp–Clarkia, Idaho
We had a lot of time to discuss ideas for our route while we waited for the storms in Moscow, we find the US 95 a bit busy for our leisurely style of travel so since we had to backtrack, this time we chose a different way north.
We went back out the way we first came into town, east on State Rt 8 then took the SR3 outta Deary.
We found a nice spot in the Panhandle National Forest, it was a pretty busy forest though.

Lei added the pics I think she took them all at this camp.
Still working on dem beans!
according to the map you were quite a ways off the road–SR3–and yet it was still noisy durring the day? did you follow Emerald Creel Rd to get to yer campspace? like the map shows?
The noise was mostly while the garnet area was open, people driving by to get there, also I think there was more forest fun up past that as well, so guys driving by very fast late at night, fisherman???
Yes we followed Emerald Creek Rd, the other ways in are straight up over mountains as far as I could make out.
