Bear Den RV Resort – Grangeville, Camas Prairie , Idaho
Another day another thunderstorm and now that we have arrived in the big city, Grangeville, population 3141. There is no question that it is more difficult to find free or inexpensive spots to overnight in the city, we finally bit the bullet and pulled into The Bear Den. We chose it mainly because it was Passport America so we were going to get it for 1/2 off.
It was very clean and friendly and we had been looking for a place to do laundry. The spot was level and all the hookups are like new. The showers were the best we have ever seen, even in a 4-star hotel! The free WiFi worked fine. The rec room and laundry were brand new and nice. It says that they had basic cable channels but we never tried it.
My old Topo map says that this place used to be called Christmas Ranch RV Ranch.

verrdy intresting! it is nice to stop in a developed campground once in a while for all the amenities, isnt it. but are you going backwards? you were in Moscow some time ago, and now back south at Grangeville? are you gunna go all the way to Canada while you have the chance, and be able to say youve been to Canada? i wouldnt pass it up if it was me.
