We had a enjoyable day driving through small towns in the prairie and then when we hit the US 12,  along the Clearwater river, but we were very happy that almost as soon as we crossed into the Clearwater National Forest we saw the “Number One River Access”, really no more than a turnout with a vault toilet and some little trails down to the river, but good enough for us to call it a day, heck, we had covered almost 80 miles! and it was 5PM!

6-5 Number-one-riverWe really enjoyed playing on the river shore in the morning an watching the twitter-paited geese.
