April 16th ~ Day 17 of our 2015 Road Trip

Forest HQNot surprisingly we didn’t get a very early start this morning leaving Alana’s, next thing on the agenda was Sam’s Club since there was one only 129 miles up the road, we thought we might make on into the forest just beyond, but the first most important stop was to visit the ranger in the Hot Springs Federal Building and by then it was 4PM, much too late to drive further.

Come to find out Hot Springs, Arkansas has a bigger claim to fame than the Sam’s oBath House Rowr the Forest Range office. They set up the first resort that all the rich folks been flocking too since Washington and Jefferson soaked here, I think, I know Babe Ruth did! It seems the National Park is all about the antique bath house row.
