Best laid plans…
So we had it all planned out.
Move the patio to storage, check.
Stow everything in the RV for traveling, check.
Move the RV and truck to the storage lot by 5:00 PM, check.
Kick it in the activities/field house till it’s time to take the cab to the train station, check.
The weather turned cold – 30’s, windy – 50 MPH and rainy!
Yikes, waiting for the train in Victorville, is like I said before, not very exciting, or even comfy. But in in-climate weather—less than appealing, if not down right miserable!
Lynne to the rescue! She picked us up and then let us sit with her in her nice warm car till the train showed up- – only 25 minutes late.
hey! i talked to Mom today and she said you and Randy were off to S Carolina. cool. thats the best way to travel long distance: by train. i know it takes longer but you see much more of the country and ya can move around and get exercise by walking the cars. i hope you have enough $$ for meals and what-not. have a GRAND TIME !!
Yes we are off to SC for Thanksgiving and a whole lot of visiting! We’re having a great time and love the train. I have lots of photos and a couple videos to post of the scenery. The Fall colors are spectacular. Brian bought us the train trip with all the bells and whistles! It’s fantastic!
