Train Trip – 2003
In April 2003 we bought a fancy new cell phone to take on a month long train trip with our Moms.
We couldn’t believe we could take great pictures and email them all over the country! Wow what technology.
These are the pictures that were emailed from our cell phone during our trip.
This was when we started, The “Where are we now?’ category.
We had this great idea with this new instantaneous connection with family, we would pose these photo ops, and then as we took a picture we would send the pic to the family emails in the phone with that question, “Where are we now?” and wait for the replies.
At night when we got checked into a hotel room wew would use “dial-up” with our fancy new laptop to check email and see who guessed!
- Seeing the country
- Outside the station, that is the Capitol behind us
- It is COLD
- Monticello – They were having a reception of some kind the day we were there.
- It is still COLD
- “Jim’s Steaks” where the night scene happens. We’re sooo spoiled on philly steak sandwiches now.
- Niagara Falls – Awesome
