Boondocking – Apple Valley, Ca
We spent 5 days here finishing up everything that needed doing to hit the road permantly, we have stayed here for 14 days in the past, its is a real good spot to hang out.
Stoddard Wells OHV Area – South
Directions: from the corner off Stoddard Wells Rd and Dale Evans Parkway go East almost exactly 3 miles (pavement ends right away) just a bit past Central St, which is marked well, you will come to a large open area that all the vegetation has been run down until it is just dirt/sand, and on the right you will see a very small US BLM Brown “Limited Use” sign. that is the border to miles and miles of BLM land. At this point you have gone past a first large dirt area that people are using as day use, I believe that area is actually privately owned but no one complains.
Verizon Internet – Great – if you make sure that you have line of sight to the I-15 to the west.
T-Mobile Phone – Good
Traffic noise depends on the dirt bike activity – most of the year it is silent, the big season is around Thanksgiving to New Years.
