We are posing at the entrance to the “Grand Canyon Caverns”, don’t let the name fool you, they are not by the Grand Canyon. We took old route 66 out of Seligman, Az on our way back from the Williams job, just to check out the caverns.
We didn’t have time to go inside, but we drove around the “resort”. If you like to overnight or vacation in “out of the way” places, or get away from it all, way away, this could be the spot. They have a motel, RV camping, maybe tent camping, I don’t remember. We think there was a pool. Everything was built in the 50’s or 60’s as a tourist trap on the “Mother Road” I don’t think they have had a lot of money for improvements over the years.
The Caverns are on our list of things we want to do someday, when we get a smaller RV.
