CHRISTMAS IN HAWAII

See the cards taped to the wall in the 1st picture, the wall is curving because it was a Quonset hut. The top card says “Mele Kalikimaka”, is Hawaii’s way to say Merry Christmas. Which always gets that song by the same name, sung by Bing Crosby stuck in my head.

CHRISTMAS IN SUN VALLEY, CALIFORNIA

Mom and Dad, ’62 or ’63. I think they were going to a Christmas party.

You can just barely see the edge of the record player to the right of George’s head. That is Lil’ Frank our cousin. He looks to be about 2-3, which makes it about ’62 or ’63

My dad, in the sports coat I made for him, in my senior year, ’72, sewing class. He was so proud of that coat. Dad passed on into glory on January 4th, just a couple weeks after this picture was taken.
