This is the 21st year without you, it seems like forever and at the same time like it was just yesterday that we talked! There is not a day that goes by that I don’t remember something you used to say or a time we shared together.

I miss being able to talk to you. I thought I would always remember all the stories of your childhood and our life in Hawaii and Midway, but time is erasing little bits of my memory here and there–I wish I had written them down!
I miss you so much mama. I miss watching old movies with you, or driving somewhere just to see what’s over there. I miss you smile, your laugh, your sense of humor, but mostly your hugs. You always saw the best in me and everything I did. You cheered me on when I just wanted to give up. I miss your encouragement, your praises and your never failing love for me.

I miss you and love you so much, but I know that you are in God’s good hands and I am looking forward to the day when I will see your beautiful face again with much joy and anticipation!
