We decided to camp for a few days before going into the “big” city of Bonners Ferry and we found a beautiful spot on public lands in Naples, about 9 miles South. Randy already posted about this camp-site we found, I just wanted to add a few more photos

On the drive from Lake Pend Oreille we came to The Elmira Café and bought some farm fresh eggs. We read in some brochure days later that the café is famous for really good food, hope we can go back and check it someday!

We were glad to find a Napa auto parts store in Bonners Ferry. Because we had to wait for a new solenoid, we took advantage of the time to do some laundry, in the same parking lot. I met a very nice Mennonite woman and a couple visiting from Texas. There was also Yoder’s Discount Groceries run by the Amish. We went to the Fairgrounds looking for fresh water and dumping, theWelcome Sign on the 95fairgrounds are on the edge of the “Old Town” right on the Kootenia River. There were lots of neighborhood kids playing, coming and going. The whole area was beautiful with a friendly small town feel.
